In the search for sporty individuality, the M Performance tuning accessories for the BMW 5 Series Facelift 2020 remain the measure of all things for many customers. The factory tuning can also be integrated into leasing contracts and is therefore much more convenient to use for the majority of German customers than other tuning offers. In the first photos of the refreshed 5 Series with M Performance Parts, we see both the sedan (G30 LCI) and the Touring (G31 LCI) in brilliant white, which makes the dark accessories stand out even more clearly.
The scope of the offer corresponds to the previously known status, but of course some parts have been adapted for installation on the modified aprons of the new M Sport package. Of course, the black kidneys are also a new component, because the basic shape of the double kidney grille, which is now enclosed in one piece, has changed significantly with the facelift. While the sedan has the 20-inch forged wheels multi-spoke 732 M Bicolor in the first photos, we see the 20-inch forged wheels 669 M in the first touring photos:
The range of aerodynamic add-on parts for the BMW 5-series facelift is even more extensive than the range of rims, which also includes the 19-inch double spoke 786 M option. For the front, there are side front attachments and a complete front splitter made of carbon, matching carbon inserts for the air breathers of the front fenders, carbon attachments for the side skirts and a carbon diffuser insert for the rear apron are available. As an alternative to carbon fiber reinforced plastic, the rear diffuser is also available in a matt black look. The rear spoiler is also available in matt black or in carbon, only the larger Pro rear spoiler is only available in carbon.
The sporty M Performance tuning program for the exterior is rounded off with tailpipe trims and exterior mirror caps made of carbon, and as before, the side accent strips are available. For the diesels — including the new BMW 530d with biturbo B hp — there is also an exhaust system with an active sound module. Even more sporty flair can be brought into the interior with the M Performance steering wheel including panels and shift paddles in carbon.
